Black Opulence Magazine is independently owned and operated, and we are transparent about how we are funded. Paid placements come in two forms, sponsored features and directory listings, and every one of them carries a visible label.

Get Featured Tiers

Businesses, authors, ministries, and events can apply for a sponsored editorial feature through our Get Featured process. Both tiers are written by our editorial staff in our voice, with an interview and photography, and both include permanent placement with Article schema.

  • The Spotlight: $125 (one time). A 600-word editor-written feature with permanent placement.
  • The Cover Treatment: $200 (one time). A 1,200-word feature with a real interview, homepage placement, and a newsletter mention.

Add-ons such as a solo newsletter send, a homepage takeover week, or a video embed are available and quoted on the same invoice. Full feature lists and the application form are on the Get Featured page.

Sponsored Features Carry a Visible Label

Every sponsored feature is marked as sponsored content on the article itself and in the page’s structured data, so a reader can always tell a paid placement from independent editorial coverage. Sponsored features are real articles written by our desks, not press releases, but they are paid placements, and we say so.

Money Never Buys Favourable Coverage

A sponsor pays for placement, not for a verdict. No payment secures a positive review, a ranking, or an endorsement presented as independent editorial judgment. Our opinions are not for sale. This is part of our Editorial Standards.

What We Decline

We reserve the right to decline any placement. We do not accept, and will not publish, advertising or sponsored features for:

  • Get-rich-quick schemes and guaranteed-return pitches
  • Unregistered investment offerings
  • MLM recruitment programs
  • Adult content

We also decline anything that misrepresents results, targets vulnerable communities, or does not meet the magazine’s standard of integrity. When in doubt, we say no.

Directory Listing

A verified listing in the Black Business Directory is $25 one time for a permanent place on the record, with no monthly fee and no commission. Listings are editorially reviewed and carry a “Listed on Black Opulence” badge. Submit a business through the directory page.
